The moment you leave Delhi or Agra and enter Jaipur, you’ll see the shift in architecture and design of the buildings. Rajasthan follows distinct design elements that set it apart; you’ll see this even more once you enter Jaisalmer and see Patwon Ki Haveli. This site, is the largest and most important haveli, or traditional townhouses, as it was the first that was built in Jaisalmer.
Patwon Ki is a cluster of five havelis, and it was built by a rich merchant for his sons in the 1800s. The intricate carvings and detailed design of the facade make it a distinct work of art in Rajasthan.
Entrance Fee: INR 250
