Kalubihon Falls

It may lack the grandness of Maria Cristina and Tinago falls, but the path going to Kalubihon Falls in the barangay of the same name certainly makes up for a thrilling experience. One must swim through a cave filled with luminous green waters and enclosed in spectacular rock formations before alighting out and into the shower-like drops of Kalubihon Falls.

Pampam Falls

A miniature waterfall compared to the big falls of Iligan, Pampam doesn’t flow without its own set of charms. A short hike into a dense forest in Brgy. Dalipuga will lead you this small but charming natural attraction. A morning swim with a few friends or with your special someone is certainly a must in here.

Limunsudan Falls

Plunging 870 feet down, Limusundan Falls in the middle of a forested mountain is the 2nd highest waterfall in the country next to Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel, Davao Oriental. Located at Sitio Limunsudan in Brgy. Rogongon, this two-tiered waterfall requires a moderate to difficult hike to reach. Upon arrival, travelers are rewarded with a picturesque view of the two crystal clear natural pools located at each level.

Which one’s your favorite? These are just some of the almost 40 waterfalls found all over Iligan City. When given more time to explore, any traveler will surely wouldn’t mind to check more or even tick off the rest of the city’s majestic waterfalls.
