We also headed to the Park and Palace of Monserrate, which had been the royal summer resort. It was like a fairy tale roaming around the park and reaching the palace on one end. It is one of the most beautiful architectural wonders of Portugal too, with elements from both Moorish and Neo-Gothic elements.
