German brides and grooms sometimes have Baumstamm Sägen, the German wedding tradition of sawing a log, at their wedding ceremony! The couple uses a two-handle long saw and don’t stop until the log has been sawed into two, as the log represents their first obstacle as a couple. How’s that for teamwork?
