The Claddagh Ring can be used as either an engagement ring or wedding ring during traditional Irish weddings. The ring should be facing outwards before the wedding, and then faced inwards after the ceremony. The ring’s design symbolizes friendship (the hands), love (heart), and loyalty (crown).
