Along the banks of the river Betwa near the Kanchana Ghat, magnificently stands, fourteen ‘Chhatris’ – an elevated dome pavilion housing a cremation or a burial site of a departed ruler. These chhatris were built during the 17th and 18th centuries. The size of each chattris varies in accordance to the length of rule of each leader.
