Food events are one of the most sought after events that tourists go to. These events have it all: locals to mingle with, the culture of the place, and of course great food. No wonder people flock these events!

So before booking your next flight, be sure to check out first what’s in store for the second half of the year!

The Great Food Festival – Singapore

The inaugural Great Food Festival will be held in September at Resorts World Sentosa. The festival will consist of different areas segregated for pastry and baking enthusiasts (Rollin’ Sweet Times), international chefs (Star Chef Arena) and for local Michelin star chefs and restaurants (Heritage Lane). The event will run from September 21 to 24.

Pesta Nukenan & Kebudayaan Kelabit Bario – Bario, Malaysia

This festival not only celebrates food but also the farming and cultural heritage of the Bario Highlands in Bario, Malaysia. The Pesta Nukenan is perfect for people who love to hike as Bario is located in the mountains. The festival will be held later this month from July 27 to 29.

Beerfest Asia – Singapore

Beer lovers unite because this one’s perfect for you! Beerfest Asia is back for its ninth year with brand new beer labels to showcase this year at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Entertainment will also be present as tribute bands of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Guns N’ Roses are performing on the three-day event. Beerfest Asia will run from August 17 to 20.

National Street Food Festival – New Delhi, India

If street food is what you’re looking for then the National Street Food Festival should be at the top of your list. The festival will showcase local street foods of New Delhi such as golgappa, pav bhaji and so much more. The event will also cater to kids with activities they can do at the “fun zone.” National Street Food Festival will run later this year from December 23 to 25.

Oktoberfest Vietnam (October 4-7 & 11-14 2017)

Who says Oktoberfest can only be celebrated by Germans? Oktoberfest Vietnam is back this year with beers coming from the festival’s origins, Munich, Germany. The event wouldn’t be complete without the German cuisine such as sausages, pretzels, schnitzels, and sauerbraten. Be sure to catch the event on the following dates: October 4 to 7 and 11 to 14.
