Singapore began as a maritime trading center, and they’re honoring the centuries-long maritime history through the Singapore Maritime Gallery. There, you can begin tracing the country’s maritime roots in the thirteenth century, then discover how Singapore evolved from a trading post to a Global Hub Port. Check out the display of a twenty-foot container, which are used to move around various types of goods and are frequently seen on Singapore’s ports. Get hands-on with the Ship Bridge Simulator and the Explorer’s Corner
