Another spot in Nara to include in your autumn itinerary is the deer park. You’ll see many of these animals walking around and being fed by locals and tourists alike. Rest and relax in the park, and take photos of the autumn foliage after seeing the historic temples of the city.

The ideal time to see autumn colors is from around mid-November to the first week of December.
