This UNESCO-listed site is one of the many attractions you can visit while in Seoul. It is one of the oldest and well-preserved Confucian shrines in South Korea. The ones who had it built dedicated it to Joseon Dynasty forefathers. A ritual of song, music and dance still occur here; this practice has a history that traces its roots to the 14th century.
