A former base of British film production company Hammer Films, The Oakley Court Hotel in Windsor rose to prominence as an ideal set in the mid-20th century. The list of movies filmed under hotel’s roof grew over the years, but its appearance in the Richard O’Brien cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show is perhaps its most notable role. Featured as Dr. Frank N Furter’s abode called “The Frankenstein Place,” it remains to be one of the most iconic homes in the world of cinema.
