Where to try it: Several restaurants in the Bicol region serve variations of pizza topped with Laing, Bicol Express and Pinangat including Small Talk Cafe in Legazpi City (Albay), Red Platter in Naga City and Camsur Water Complex (CWC) in Camarines Sur.

Bagnet, Pinakbet and Poqui-Poqui Pizza from Ilocos

Ilocano cuisine is arguably one of the most delicious in the Philippines. Ilocano specialties like longganiza (local sausage), bagnet (deep fried crispy pork belly) and pinakbet (mixed vegetables steamed in fish sauce) are well-loved among locals and foreigners alike. Several restaurants in the tourist hubs of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur serve unique pizzas topped with these dishes. Meat-lovers will probably gravitate towards pizzas topped with longganiza and bagnet. If you prefer vegetables on your pizza, opt for the Pinakbet Pizza and Poqui-Poqui Pizza, topped with an Ilocano egg and eggplant dish.
