Ever thought of making the big move to live in a place better than where you are now? Then you might as well consider the world’s best.

For its 2019 Quality of Living Ranking, global consultancy firm Mercer compared over 230 cities around the world to determine which ones are the most desirable, taking into account crucial factors such as housing, education, public services and transport, the natural environment, recreation, medical and health considerations, as well as political and social environment—among others.

One of the most comprehensive of its type in the world, Mercer’s authoritative survey is conducted annually to “enable multinational companies and other organizations to compensate employees fairly when placing them on international assignments.” But while the survey seems business-oriented, it sets a good benchmark for individuals looking into migrating for what some would call “greener pastures.”

So, what are the locales you might want to consider moving into? Mercer rounds up its top 10:

Basel, Switzerland
