Beaches after Dark: Where to Go for Nightlife

Full moon party at the beach, anyone?
by | April 23, 2016

Around the world, there are beaches reserved for those who wish to party like there’s no tomorrow. After all, partying on the beach means that you can almost literally crawl to your bed. Or you don’t have to.

So bring your best beach bod and your A-game because if you’re looking to party, you’ve come to the right place.

Copacabana, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Copacabana is one of, if not the most, famous beach in the world. Every year, you’ll see millions of foreigners flock in on New Year’s Eve to celebrate the festivities. But even when it isn’t New Year’s Eve, the party goes on…and on.

With some of the best street foods available as well as numerous nightclubs, a fun- and booze-filled night (or week) can be expected in a visit to this iconic beach.

Copacabana beach also made the teeny tiny bikini famous, if ever you needed another reason to go.

South Beach, Miami, Florida

South Beach, or SoBe for short, is the most luxurious beach on this list. Apart from the countless celebrities who seem to be almost always present at the beach, the clubs are exclusive and will require a lot of $$$ to get in if you’re a regular Joe.

Fear not though because the beach is the beach, after all. With white sand and crystal clear waters, one can find great parties all-throughout the day and night—with relatively minimal expenses.

It’s the site of numerous music festivals, and annual parties so if you get your timing right, there will be no need for to get into those exclusive clubs!

Cala Jondal Beach, Ibiza, Spain

“I took a pill in Ibiza, to show Avicii I was cool”—this probably encapsulates what Ibiza is like.

Ibiza is party paradise for anyone who loves the beach and nightclubs. With parties that don’t stop for days, endless drinking, accompanied by the leniency on drug use, you can be sure that you will be separated from your senses if you party in Ibiza.

VIP is the way to go in Cala Jondal Beach. Most clubs will be fully booked so make sure to book a slot way in advanced. And make sure you don’t “party” too much, if you know what I mean.

Super Paradise Beach, Mykonos, Greece

Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos is one of the most frequented party beaches in the world.

What used to be a gay beach is now open to all and is renowned worldwide for its stand on clothing (optional), celebrity visits, and crazy parties that usually start from mid-afternoon and last till the following day.

With a name like Super Paradise Beach, it’s kind of a no-brainer that it should be included in your bucket list of go-to beach parties!

White Beach, Boracay, Philippines

White beach, located in our very own Boracay, tops the list as the best beach after dark.

Nightlife in Boracay is a whole-year affair. If you’re looking for a beach that’s big enough for you to chill in, as well as party in, then White Beach is the place for you. With white sand, and an abundance of clubs, the alcohol just keeps flowing, and the dancing never stops.

Chill in Spider House in Station 3 of Boracay, if you’re exhausted from all the partying. The serene ambience and view of Boracay will ease that hangover and get you pumped up for the next day of activities.
