Recharge in Nature at this Idyllic Resort in Lipa, Batangas

Nothing better than being surrounded by nature.
by | October 26, 2020

Batangas is a province known for its shores during the summer and rainy day favorites kapeng barako and lomi. But beyond these popular destinations and foodie finds are places for serious R&R, where you can go offline for a while and recharge. One is located in Lipa City, a family-owned resort boasting the beauty of nature.

Rose Villas Resort

Location: Purok 6B, San Jose, Lipa City, Batangas

Nestled in a 1.2-hectare property, Rose Villas Resort used to be a private vacation place for its owners. It only opened to the public in 2017, and has become a favorite place for family vacations and celebrations like intimate weddings.

Entering the resort, you would find that the owners have an appreciation of natural beauty, as seen in the lush greenery surrounding the property and wooden accents in their accommodation.

Accommodation

Rose Villas Resort has four different accommodations to suit every type of guest. The Superior Room is perfect for couples while the Deluxe and two Family Rooms are for large groups like barkadas and families planning to stay overnight.

The Family Room is a two-story home that looks like a modern nipa hut: the walls are concrete while the roof is made of wood, nipa, and fishnet. The glass doors give you the option to have a panoramic view of the resort even when indoors.

Other than the appreciation for the classic Pinoy home, this room maximizes design and functionality, which is a bang for the buck for big groups. Found on the first floor are two beds, a mini-fridge, closet, sink area, shelves, and a private bath.

When you go upstairs, two beds can also be found as well as a balcony where you can relax and appreciate the city’s cool weather. The room and balcony are separated by glass windows that let guests get the same panoramic view of the property from the comforts of their beds.

Amenities

A relaxing vacation is not complete without cooling off at a pool. Rose Villas Resorts has two swimming pools; one of which has partitions for adults and kids. Float your worries away for a while!

Rattan sunbeds can be found by the pool for the much-needed tanning session or when you just want to chill while reading a book. Tables and chairs are also located by the pool.

Guests who don’t plan on staying overnight may rent one of the cabanas and gazebos located near the swimming pools. These also feature a modern nipa hut design and they have curtains for privacy.

Celebrations like intimate weddings are held in their event halls that feature high ceilings and wooden accents.

Rates at Rose Villas Resort start at Php 3,500 for a Superior Room. For more information, visit their official website.
