The Pacific Ocean is really one surfing swell factory. Bagasbas beach is another surfing spot that faces this mighty sea. Comparable to Baler because of its extended length of shoreline, surfing in Bagasbas is also ideal for beginners because one can set out afar to wait for swells without going too deep. One must be wary of the current of the ocean though, as it can easily pull you underneath, so best to always surf with a trained instructor. For advanced surfers, Bagasbas beach becomes the site of an endless playground where the waves just keep on coming and surfer junkies keep on getting stoked.

Marky Ramone Go is a travel-junkie, writer and photographer based in the Philippines. Aside from contributing articles to various publications and websites, he narrates his experiences wandering the tropical paradise of the Philippines, the culturally rich regions of South East Asia, Sri Lanka and India on his travel blog Nomadic Experiences. After Asia, he is keen on exploring South America and eventually hoping to trace Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" trail in the United States to Mexico.
