Heard all over the island, are stories of people who escaped the corporate world in the big cities and found their Zen state of mind on this island. What’s not to like? Natural pools, hidden lagoons, lush countryside and the many cool places to hang out and dine with friends. These are just few of the many reason that makes Siagao more than just a surfing spot. It is in fact, the most popular surfing destination in the country, but its charms expands well over it – as evidenced by the many travelers who opted to stay for long in this island. The most popular surf spot is called Cloud Nine. When on the lineup be ready to be on the lookout at who is beside you as known celebrities are often seen surfing in Siagao. That includes Red Hot Chili Peppers’ lead singer Anthony Kiedis.
