This stunning natural attraction is a few hours by bus away from the bustling city of Urumqi. Once you arrive, you can get on a sightseeing bus to take you directly to the lake. You’ll see its clear blue waters and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Autumn is a good time to go to see the different colors of the trees. Despite the crowds, you can still find a spot to get away from them and take good photos of the landscape.

Entrance Fee: CNY155 (ticket and bus ride), extra fees inside for other activities
