Great British Festival

The Great British Festival is back bringing Britain closer to the Philippines and celebrating UK culture and innovation. Its two-week run which started on February 23 and will end on March 10 is spread across the country in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, and Dumaguete. Visit the British Embassy Manila Facebook page for more details.

Ortigas Art Festival

Drop by Estancia’s spacious Bridgeway and get to see how it transforms into an art festival for the first time! From February 23 to March 26, a gallery of art installations, photo exhibits, group exhibits, and workshops will be held at Estancia at Capitol Commons. The best part is that admission is free so you can check out these works of art any time you want!

Sinag Maynila

Now on its fourth year, Sinag Maynila is a film festival that aims to spotlight artistic Filipino films that would appeal to international film festivals. These carefully selected films will be screened at select SM Malls nationwide from March 7 to 15. Categories for the film festival include full length films, documentaries, and short films (which are open to students). It’ll be one heck of a Filipino film festival!

Sticker Con Manila

This weekend, March 10, the biggest gathering of the best local sticker artists and collectors will be happening at JY Campos Hall B, Bayanihan Center Pasig. Go nuts and hoard as many stickers as you want for your planners, phones, gadgets, and anywhere else you want to put them on!

Haruki Murakami Festival

Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami will be having his own festival, hosted by Japan Foundation and the first of its kind, here in the country. Experience Murakami through a month-long event featuring his literature, movie adaptations of his books, talks detailing his beautiful writing process, and a jazz concert featuring Murakami’s novels.

The festival will be held at UP Film Institute and BGC, Taguig for free admission on March 15 to 24. For more information, check out Japan Foundation Manila’s Facebook page.

Comic Con Asia

Comic Con Asia 2018 is one of the most awaited annual events where the best of comics, anime, manga, gaming, movies, toys, cosplay and many more come alive for two days of fun. Swing by the SMX Convention Center on March 24-25! Who knows, you might even get to meet legendary comic book royalty Stan Lee.

The thriving music scene

Kyzia spends most of her time capturing the world around her through photos, paragraphs, and playlists. She is constantly on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and a great paperback thriller to pair with it.
