London is a bibliophile’s heaven. Everyone knows about Foyles, Hatchard’s, Daunt and Waterstones, as well as the various secondhand bookshops on Charing Cross Road and the Victorian dream that is Cecil Court. But it can get pretty overwhelming, especially if you only have a few days (decades, if you had your way) in the city. So here are some places that will make your book-loving heart burst with sheer joy.

It’s one of the more popular secondhand bookshops on Charing Cross Road for good reason, as its stock (updated daily!) ranges from bargain bin favorites to rare, first edition finds.
